Bio

Evi Werkers graduated as Master in Law in 2004 and as Master in Cultural Management in 2005.

She works as a legal researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Law and ICT (ICRI), which is part of the Catholic University of Leuven and of the Interdisciplinary instute for BroadBand Technology (IBBT). She took part in multiple projects (concerning iDTV, e-culture, e-learning, e-archiving) and specializes in copyright and media law.

Since 2006 she is part of the team of FLEET-researchers and conducting research on the media law aspects concerning e-publishing.
