Bio

Jan Bierhoff is presently director of the European Centre for Digital Communication (EC/DC), a contract research unit, based at Zuyd University and part of the Infonomics and New Media Research Group. Its project portfolio focuses at the innovative application of emerging information society technologies. For FLEET, he supervises the project output and external relations.

Before moving to research, Jan created and directed the European Journalism Centre, venue for mid-career training, and worked as a professional journalist for print and audiovisual media.
